Dementia is quickly overwhelming families, communities, workforces and our healthcare systems on local, national and global levels. Currently, there are over half a million Canadians that are living with dementia, and for each person diagnosed, another 10-12 people are directly impacted. It is Gordie Howe CARES' mission to ensure that non of these caregivers are on their journey alone.

Though extensive research and engagements with caregivers we learned that there is an opportunity to grow confidence within caregivers of loved ones in the early stages of Alzheimer's and dementia-related diseases, by helping them feel supported and prepared for the decisions up ahead.
